Billie Johnson taught her first class in Albany on December 6th, 2011. Her energy and enthusiasm for the material and the people was obvious. She shared insights based on experience working on significant projects for large companies. Since then, she has taught classes to several organizations in Albany, provided guidance to those seeking certification, and mentored her fellow practitioners as we navigated our way. Through her contributions, we as individuals and as a profession matured in Albany. With her recent announcement to retire, we have asked her to join us and answer questions about her journey. With our meetings being virtual, here is a chance to interact with your fellow business analysts. We'll be meeting up casually and hope you can join us at the open-air artisan food market (https://galleria7market.com/). Grab something from one of the food vendors (options includes Mexican, Latin, Japanese, Pizza, and American). Show up any time between 5:00 and 6:30 and stay as long as you want. While inspired by the people who will be helping at the Regional Food Bank, this is open to everyone.

The Regional Food Bank distributes food to 1000 charitable organizations who support 350,000 people each month. To accomplish this, they need volunteers to help sort and pack food. Join us as we volunteer to help the Regional Food Bank get the food to where it is needed. Earlier this evening, some of us will be meeting nearby at the Galleria 7 Market to grab a quick bite. Join us there if you want. There is a separate event for that.
