Unlocking New Value: Business Architecture and Initiative Planning

With pressures of transformation, agile delivery and the increasing pace of change, initiative planning has never been more important to get ideas to market and balance organizations’ precious resources. As the discipline of business architecture has been formalizing and maturing, it is proving to be valuable in helping organizations to improve initiative scoping and estimation, initiative selection and prioritization, cross-initiative coordination, and requirements acceleration. This interactive conversation will cover a brief overview and update on the state of business architecture, and discuss the theory and practice of how business architecture has been used to inform and shape initiatives and requirements. It will also explore ways that project managers, business analysts and business architects can partner to deliver greater value to their organizations.
