Business Analysis Workplan

Learn to explain what you do

"How much longer before the analysis is done?"
"Why is it taking so long?"
"What is left to be done?"

It probably sounds familiar. Being asked by the PM, Sponsors, Business staff, Developers, Testers…  They all want to know.  And all too often we can't give an answer because we know how to do it, but not how to explain it.
During this session, we will explore how to prepare a workplan of the BA activities and use it to hold a conversation regarding what needs to be done and why. And to provide estimates for how long various activities will require.

Learning Objectives:

  • Realize the importance of having a workplan for business analysis activities
  • Understand who wants it and why
  • Learn the steps in preparing one
