Capturing and Managing Requirements and Test Criteria on an Agile Project: An Approach
An agile project captures and manages requirements via user stories, which are often portrayed as being written on an index card size post-it note. But can a collection of post-it notes be better organized?
Kelly and Don will share their experiences from the Remittance Management Project. This project included an application redesign and re-platform, using an iterative approach to document and develop the system. User stories were selected as the work products for requirements. They found an innovative way to capture the user story, its status, development and user acceptance criteria which they will share and discuss.
Learning Objectives
- What are user stories and how do they work?
- What are their drawbacks?
- How can they be improved without purchasing specialized software?
