Welcome to 2019.  If you are like most people, you made a couple of resolutions.  Did they include making changes to improve your professional life and/or career?

Making changes can be easy, making improvements is more difficult.  It requires help – feedback from someone else’s perspective.  Asking for feedback is one of the most important and difficult things to do.

And providing feedback isn’t easy either.  Sure, sharing positive comments can be easy: great attitude, dependable…, but the negative?  How can you help someone improve if you’re reluctant to tell them what needs to be improved?

Frank Palmeri and Cleo Rodgers will present on the importance of feedback to the improvement process, and how to successfully navigate your way through it.

Presenters: Cleo Rodgers and Frank Palmeri
Frank Palmeri works for the New York State Office of Information Technology Services in data processing for over 30 years.  He is the current president of the NYS Forum's Toastmaster club. 

Cleo Rodgers is a member of the Albany IIBA chapter, and a business analyst with NYSTEC.  She is also a member of the NYS Forum's Toastmaster club.

While well known for helping people with public speaking, the toastmasters also helps people with other leadership skills such as time management, adhering to an agenda, and providing feedback.  Please see toastmasters.org for additional information.
