  • Distribution reaches mid-level and senior management staff in 50 Capital Region companies, New York State agencies, and 4 educational institutions.
  • Companies include Albany Medical Center, St. Peter’s Hospital, CDPHP, MVP Healthcare, Key Bank, Bank of America, Verizon, Farm Family, IBM, Deloitte, Keane, KMPG, CGI, Lexis Nexis, NYISO.
  • State agencies include Office of State Comptroller, Department of Motor Vehicles, State Troopers, Department of Transportation, Teachers Retirement System, Health, Temporary and Disability Assistances, Children and Family Services, Criminal Justice Services, Thruway Authority, Labor.
  • Ability to track and report number of clicks on specific links embedded in distribution email.

Sponsoring the Chapter 

Sponsors are of great importance to the Chapter. They provide the resources that allow us to advocate for and provide services & resources to the Business Analysis community. For example, sponsorship allows the Chapter to offer educational classes, engage expert speakers, develop marketing materials, and provide meeting space and refreshments at monthly meetings. These are just some of the many things that the Chapter provides to assist local Business Analysts advance their knowledge, and careers. All of the funds provided by sponsors stay with the local chapter.

Premier*

A Premier Sponsor is an individual or organization that generally sponsors all Chapter activities. The Premier Sponsorship is for a period of one year and offers the Sponsor the opportunity to gain significant visibility.
Organizational Priority: Maximize exposure of your organization at all Business Analysis professional community events and support of internal Business Analysis professionals. 
 

  • Prime visibility on the chapter’s website Home page as a Premier supporter with organizational logo and link to the organization’s website.
  • Visibility on the chapter's website Sponsors page – includes organizational logo, link to organization website, and a 100 word description provided by the sponsor.
  • Specially created ‘Premier Sponsor of the IIBA Albany Capital District” logo for your use during the sponsorship period.  
  • Notice of link to organization’s business analysis related job opening announcements on the chapter's website Home page.
  • Ability to organize one event per year that provides exclusive access to chapter members, and associated individuals & organizations. (Event topics, agenda and logistics to be reviewed and approved by Board of Directors. Depending on meeting format, Sponsor may be required to provide additional funding)
  • Time reserved at the beginning of each monthly meeting (~ 5-10 minutes) allowing an organization representative the opportunity to discuss the organization or organizational activities. Or recognition by the chapter President of the organization as a Premier Sponsor.
  • Top billing on all chapter signage and advertisements. Organization logo and acknowledgement as Premier Sponsor placed below IIBA chapter logo or below meeting / training event title.
  • Ability to display organization promotional materials at monthly chapter meetings and special events.
  • Up to four promotional email blasts during the year distributed to chapter mailing list. (Note: Content provided by organization; reviewed and approved by ACD Board of Directors.)
  • Recognition as Premier Sponsor on all meeting invitations and other communications to membership during the year.
  • Up to 4 organization employees may attend monthly chapter meetings at no cost (normally a $10 guest fee).
  • Up to 4 chapter membership fees waived for employees of organization (Normally a $24 annual fee. Not transferable. IIBA International membership is required to become chapter member).
 
Corporate Sponsor - BA Professional SupportA Corporate Sponsor is an organization that sponsors chapter activities at a level below that of the Premier level. Corporate Sponsorship is for a period of one year.

Organizational Priority: Support organization’s employees to develop or enhance their Business Analysis expertise, support certification, and encourage networking.
  • Listed as Corporate sponsor on the chapter's website Home page.
  • Listed as Corporate sponsor on the website Sponsors page. Twenty-five word description about organization and a link to the organization's website included.
  • Recognition of organization as Corporate sponsor at monthly meetings.
  • Visibility on all chapter meeting invitations and other communications to membership during the year.
  • Specially created ‘Corporate Sponsor of the IIBA Albany Capital District” logo for your use during the sponsorship period.
  • Up to 7 organization employees may attend monthly chapter meetings at no cost (normally a $10 guest fee).
  • Up to 7 chapter membership fees waived for employees of the organization (Normally a $24 annual fee. Not transferable. IIBA International membership is required to become a chapter member).
  • Individual guidance provided by a chapter CBAP to up to 7 employees of the organization concerning the CBAP application process and exam preparation.
 
Corporate Sponsor - Industry Exposure
A Corporate Sponsor is an organization that sponsors chapter activities at a level below that of the Premier level. Corporate Sponsorship is for a period of one year.
Organizational Priority: Market the organization and its products/services at all Business Analysis professional community events.
  • Listed as Corporate sponsor on the chapter's website Home page.
  • Listed as Corporate sponsor on the website Sponsors page. Twenty-five word description about organization and a link to the organization's website included.
  • Time reserved at the beginning of each monthly meeting (~ 5 minutes) allowing an organization representative the opportunity to discuss the organization or organizational activities. Or recognition by the chapter President of the organization as a Corporate Sponsor.
  • Visibility on all chapter meeting invitations and other communications to membership during the year.
  • Ability to display organization promotional materials at chapter meetings.
  • Specially created ‘Corporate Sponsor of the IIBA Albany Capital District” logo for your use during the sponsorship period.
  • Ability to organize one chapter meeting per year that provides exclusive access to chapter members, and associated individuals & organizations. (Presentation topic, agenda and logistics to be reviewed and approved by ACD Board of Directors. Sponsor may be required to provide additional funding depending on meeting format.)
  • Up to six promotional email blasts during the year distributed to chapter mailing list. (Note: Content provided by organization; reviewed and approved by ACD Board of Directors.)
 
Meeting Sponsor

 
A Meeting Sponsor is an organization that sponsors a specific chapter meeting.
 
Organizational Priority: Introduce the organization’s products or services to the Business Analysis professional community.
  • Visibility on the chapter's website Sponsors page during the month of the chapter meeting underwritten by the organization - includes a link to the organization’s website.
  • Opportunity for the organization’s representative to introduce the organization during the specific chapter meeting underwritten.
  • Visibility on chapter signage and advertisements related to the monthly chapter meeting underwritten by the patron.
  • Ability to display organization promotional materials during the monthly chapter meeting underwritten by the patron.
  • Visibility on materials and chapter meeting invitations relating to the specific chapter meeting underwritten by the patron.
 
Chapter Patron

A Chapter Patron provides ongoing in-kind (non-monetary) support to the chapter.
Organizational Priority:  Promote awareness of organization in the Business Analysis community. 
In Kind Offering: Negotiated

  • Listed as Patron on the website Sponsors page.
  • Visibility on all chapter meeting invitations distributed to membership during the year.

         

 
Chapter Alliance Partner

 
A Chapter Alliance Partner is generally a not-for-profit, member-driven association whose mission and objectives are closely aligned with those of the Albany Capital District IIBA chapter. The Alliance Partnership is an agreement between the Chapter and the Partner to support each other through shared no-fee resources such as marketing & communication resources.
