Recognizing and Providing Security to All

Tuesday, April 2, 2019 -
17:30 to 20:00

It is not uncommon for us to represent stakeholders who are not in the room.  Doing our best to ensure their interests and concerns – stated or imaged.
Sometimes they are people we will never meet, and who do not realize they are even part of our project.  And sometimes their role is the most critical one to the solution being delivered.
Mike Haber will leverage his experience from NYS Board of Elections to discuss the importance of understanding our stakeholders and ensuring the solutions we craft for their use are secure.  He will challenge us to consider if it is acceptable to compromise security.

Learning Objectives:

  • Realize the importance of all stakeholders to a project’s success
  • Understand the need to take a broad view on security concerns to identify them.
  • Realize that sometimes even the trivial is important
